Hi, I’m Sam Peterson. I grew up here in central Texas and have been working in the green industry for the past 20 years. I studied botany at Texas State University in San Marcos and I have worked at some great local nurseries over the years where I earned my Texas Certificate for Nursery Professionals with the Texas Nursery & Landscape Association. I’ve also worked on the propagation side of the industry and a short run with interiorscaping, but my passions brought me back outside. I earned my Permaculture Design Certificate in 2005 and am a member of the Austin chapter of the Native Plant Society of Texas.

I’m a huge believer that nature knows best and I take pride in working with the established natural flows of the land. I love helping folks create healthy thriving landscapes incorporating wildlife habitat, pollinator friendly gardens, and sustainable, waterwise designs. Wether you’re a DIY gardener just wanting some advice on maintenance or plant placement or a homeowner wanting to personalize your landscape for a full cohesive and inviting design, I’m happy to help.
